Vi Peel Day 1
So I got the Vi Peel done today. I went to this place.
So here’s what I think :
Make Up Is Good. Just Not Today
Don’t go there with any makeup on. They’re gonna ask you if you have anything on your face. Therefore, try not to use moisterizers or anything else. You want to go with the cleanest face possible.
Yes, they’ll clean your face with some kind of liquid but I figure if you go with your face already a blank slate, your face is as prepared as you can possible be.
Hold On
Casey (the lady who put my peel on. Sorry if I misspell your name!) hands me this little fan and I’m like “What’s this for?” She says “It’ll sting a little at first so the fan helps.”
I gotta hand it to Casey. The woman is honest.
Zzt Zzt ZZZZZTTTT!!!
Hooooly moly, it stung for the first couple of seconds. The fan definitely helped a lot and so did her running commentary.
Oooh…you’re a little pink now. Okay, so you’re a little “frosted” but don’t worry. That’ll go away.
Wtf?! I’m frosted??!! Like Frosted Flakes? Good God.

So far, so good.
My face feels a little tight and the stinging is still there but it’s definitely very very tolerable. It doesn’t hurt. It feels more like….an annoyance. If I had to liken it to anything, I’d say it’s like a really bad sunburn. That’s what it feels like.
As of right now, I’m about 3.5 hours post peel application.
The instructions say to wash off if there is irritation or itching. I have neither so far.
It also says to leave it on for 4 – 6 hours but, if tolerated, to leave on till evening. I can hang till 7 p.m. Sure, no problem.
