I’m Ponyo

Clyde and I were watching “Ponyo” at home a few nights ago. Guess who’s idea it was. I’ll give you a clue. It wasn’t his.

Guess who’s got an awesome boyfriend because he watched it with me and paid attention. Me!

So here’s what else I concluded :

– I want magical powers like Ponyo!
– I do not want to mighty morph into weird chicken frog looking thing.
– I also do not want to be a goldfish with a human face, princess or no princess.
– I like LOVE ham and all other porky goodness.

Weird chicken frog looking Ponyo. O.o

– Clyde is Sosuke.
– He is stable, caring and mischievous.
– He has a strong sense of duty and protecting what he loves.
– He is also very responsible and has a big heart.
– He also sort of kind of almost has the same hair cut. ….okay, not really except the fade-ish part.
– He’s also not the same age….thank God….I’m not into little boys, both in a literal or figurative sense.

Ponyo and Sosuke aka Bonnie and Clyde.

Clyde also thinks I’m like Ponyo. I asked him why and he said it was because I was some word that started with the letters “I” and “M”. The only problem was, I couldn’t remember what the word was!

I tried so hard to recall what he said but the only words I could think of that started with “im-” were imperious, impetuous and impotent. NONE of those apply to me so I was left with my last remaining weapon in ferreting out this word from my head.

Besides the first two letters of the word, I also remembered its definition. I remembered thinking Clyde was basically saying I’m like Spontaneous’s crazy loony cousin.

The word he used to describe Ponyo was “impulsive”.

Dude, that is so me. Thank God he’s the responsible one.

I don’t see this as a bad thing because I bring joy, rainbows and all things gloriously retarded into his otherwise non-gloriously retarded life.

Yeah…it totally all works out. 😀
